• Name: Nepristi Fullbody Color
• Description: On the note of aliens, I redid Nepristi's design because I felt it was missing something. I really like how it turned out this time, especially with the colors. I struggled a lot with it cause I'm not usually one to use browns/muted colors, but this story kinda has a lot those tones I feel. Anyway a little bit about their species. Starmerrow are an alien species that are all based off of fish, specifically cartilaginous fish (Chondrichthyes). In this case Nepristi is very loosely based off an eastern fiddler ray, but honestly I went way off the original design and they kinda look nothing like one anymore to me. Anyway a cool thing about Starmerrow is they're like basically space werewolves, they can transform into a giant version of whatever fish they are, and while theyre in this form, they are capable of traveling in space without any extra equipment. Also they don't really need to breathe, and are extremely resistant to radiation, so their home planet doesn't have an atmosphere.
