Laika's Comet is a story by fourleafisland about a dog-girl mechanic living on a post-apocalyptic Furth (fur-earth). She helps other inhabitants by repairing farming equipment and other tech, and also helps her adoptive father Yue study the mysterious comet that caused the apocalypse.
In the first chapter, the story follows Laika as she investigates an anomaly in an abandoned neighborhood. There she discovers a young child named Mars, who lives in a magical dimension that enveloped their neighborhood.
The comic is packed with beautiful visuals and impressively deep symbolism reflecting the story's themes of trauma and healing journeys.
